L'isola di Ustica, a nord-ovest della Sicilia, dista 69 Km da Palermo.

Proximity:

Isole Eolie.

Geology:

Il territorio di Ustica Ŕ di origine vulcanica ed ha una storia antica e complessa. Diversamente dalle isole Eolie non presenta allo stato attuale attivitÓ vulcanica.

Surface:

La stele Ŕ in tufo.

Dimensions:
Length 0.19 m.  Depth 0.25 m.

Si tratta di una scultura femminile acefala, di cui si conserva il busto privo di braccia. I seni sono molto ben evidenziati. La parte sottostante presenta incisioni oblique e verticali, che raffigurano verosimilmente un vestito. Mancano le membra inferiori. La faccia posteriore non Ŕ decorata. La stele, di cui si conservano due frammenti combacianti, Ŕ stata riutilizzata come materiale di costruzione in un edificio di un periodo pi¨ tardo.
