Notes: |
Abstract: Vale de Cabrões it's a rock-art open-air site of Vale do Côa Archaeological Park, which integrates several vertical schist pannels, where are represented zoomorphic and anthropomorphic naturalistic engravings. These are dated from Palaeolithic, Epipalaeolithic and Iron Age, and were made by pecking and scratching techniques. One of the most remarkable representations is a sexual scene between anthropomorphs with bird heads. |
