Este abrigo ostenta ao centro do painel uma grande representação antropomórfica pintada em vermelho vinhoso, já de um período pós-glaciar. Este apresenta longas pernas e cabeça achatada, transportando na mão direita o que parece ser uma arco.

Abstract: Faia it´s a rock-art shelter and open-air site of Vale do Côa Archaeological Park, located on the left side of low Côa river, which integrates 8 engraved rocks. The particularity of Faia rock art, is that it's executed over granite surfaces, and the engravings were made by pecking and painting techniques. The type of figures represented are, zoomorphic (auroches, goats and horses) and anthropomorphic, dated from Palaeolithic, Neolithic and Cooper Age. |
