Geography:
Este abrigo, el más meridional del barranco del Mortero, tiene unos 4 metros de longitud en su entrada por una altura central de tres metros y una profundidad máxima de dos. Ocupa, como los antiguos de Trepadores y Borriquillos, la base de los peñascos superiores que delimitan la gran marmita del Mortero en su vertiente derecha. La superficie pintada forma como dos oquedades, debidas a la incurvación de la roca: una a la izquierda, de unos dos metros y otra más pequeña a la derecha de un metro aproximadamente. La roca, cubierta por una pátina calcárea de color ocre, en muchas zonas ennegrecida por el humo y los líquenes, contiene pinturas muy calcificadas y llenas de las desconchaduras de la roca.

EuroPreArt, European Prehistoric Art, is a web-based archaeological project funded by the European Union which aims to establish a lasting data-base of European prehistoric art documentation, to launch the base of an European institutional network and to contribute to the awareness of the diversity and richness of European Prehistoric Art.
