Estas figuras de rectangulos e linhas paralelas foram pintadas em vermelho, cor de vinho e um raro azul muito escuro. Tem também a particularidade de se terem conservado praticamente ao ar livre pois a rocha em que se encontram não é na verdade um verdadeiro abrigo. Foram para além disso os primeiros exemplos de arte rupestre publicados em Portugal e um dos primeiros no Mundo.

EuroPreArt, European Prehistoric Art, is a web-based archaeological project funded by the European Union which aims to establish a lasting data-base of European prehistoric art documentation, to launch the base of an European institutional network and to contribute to the awareness of the diversity and richness of European Prehistoric Art.
