Description:

Engravings   Paintings   Painted engravings   High or low-relief   Sculpture
On the right side of the shelter and 0,5 m over the floor, there is a small panel about 9 x1 2 cm. with just one figure, very pale and affected by a chip. Is a dark red pectiniforme of 7 x 45 cm, composed by a horizontal line that links 11 vertical ones on their upper end. It has been made with thin lines - 0,5 cm-. On the opposite wall we have some orange paintings, made with thick lines:the first one, very pale, is formed by a vertical bar 3,5 cm long with two small horizontal ones - 1,5 cm - in its ending sides. Beneath it to the left, 1,37 m above the floor, there are 12 fingerdots and one branched out figure 14 cm long and 8 cm width, with 6 horizontal bars or branches on the left side and 5 on the rigth. Few cm to the right there is another branched figure, very pale, one horizontal bar and two blots. Close to them and very pale too, we find 4 thick and short bars - about 3 cm -, and two fingerdots. Beneath, there are two figures about 4 cm told and 4 width, similar to the second described - a vertical bar with horizontal ones at the limits- . The rest of the figures in the selter are thick bars - in a vertical (3) and horizontal (10) position -, two fingerdots and a blot.

Figures:
total number 42
15 fingerdots, 2 branched out figures, 3 ....,18 bars, and about 4 blots

Chronology:

Palaeolithic   Epipalaeolithic - Mesolithic   Neolithic   Copper Age   Bronze Age   Iron Age   Roman   Middle Age   Modern   Unknown
VI-I milenium aC. is the general schematic-paintings cronology in Spain. (We can´t give more accurate cronology because of the few references we can obtain in this case).

Notes:

The Natural Park Area has been traditionaly used by shepherds. They followed all the water courses who cross the region, and they where the authors of many bonfires made inside the shelters. Now there are not shephers inside the Park, and people can´t visit many areas.
