Motivos Esquemáticos. Linhas onduladas simples e formando meandros, ovais alongadas, pontos, representações antropomórficas, representação solar.Superfície previamente preparada, por alisamento e com uma camada de base branca. Nas figuras o vermelho é usado predominantemente, o preto aparece em aspectos de pormenor.

Primeira metade do IV milénio AC. Talvez já no 2º quartel (3750-3500 AC).

Notes:

Pesquisado em 1926 por Prof. Dr. Mendes Corrêa, Dr. Rui de Serpa Pinto, Dr. Augusto da Cunha Leal e Sr. Joaquim Ferreira Barbosa. No início dos anos 70 Elizabeth Shee, no Museu de Arqueologia do Instituto de Antropologia do Porto, procedeu ao levantamento de todos os fragmentos de ortóstatos pintados procedentes do dólmen do Padrão.

EuroPreArt, European Prehistoric Art, is a web-based archaeological project funded by the European Union which aims to establish a lasting data-base of European prehistoric art documentation, to launch the base of an European institutional network and to contribute to the awareness of the diversity and richness of European Prehistoric Art.
