Geography:
A Canada do Inferno localiza-se um pouco a montante do local da ensecadeira, na margem esquerda do rio Côa. Grande parte das rochas com gravuras do sítio encontram-se submersas pela Barragem do Pocinho.

Proximity:

 Fica a cerca de 500 m da ensecadeira e do local onde ia surgir a barragem de Foz Côa.

Representação antropomórfica muito esquematizada, feita a picotado. A rocha apresenta tambem gravuras de cronologia paleolítica ( inéditas).

Notes:
Abstract: Quinta da Barca it's one of the three biggest nucleous of open-air Rock-art site of Vale do Côa Archaeological Park, together with Penascosa and Canada do Inferno. It´s located on the left side of Côa river in front of Penascosa site, and integrates 24 schist rocks, spread along 350m. The engravings represent zoomorphic mothifs and rare scratched mothifs made by pecking, scratching and abrading, dated from Palaeolithic Only two of these rocks were totally studied: rocks 2 and 3.

EuroPreArt, European Prehistoric Art, is a web-based archaeological project funded by the European Union which aims to establish a lasting data-base of European prehistoric art documentation, to launch the base of an European institutional network and to contribute to the awareness of the diversity and richness of European Prehistoric Art.
