Rock n° 1 of Vite-Deria Locality is on prominent position long the road that connects Capo di Ponte to Paspardo. Around the rock there are many similar engraved rock and wood of chestnuts. All the rocks of Vite-Deria Locality are in the Regional Park of Engravings of Ceto-Cimbergo-Paspardo Municipalities. |

Rock n° 1 of Vite-Deria Locality is sand-stone polished by the glacier. The colour is grey. Around rock n° 1 there are a lot of similar engraved rock of sand-stone. |

The surface is grey, polished by the Pleistocene glacier. The sand-stone of the rocks of Vite-Deria Locality is fragile and there are a lot of detachments. |

Rock n° 1 is divided in three sectors: A, B and D. In sector A there are two figures of warriors, with shields, spear, dagger and axe (hellebardenaxte); one figure of axe with half-moon blade; 7 scratched circles; 4 groups of points and 1 loose hammering. In sector B there are 1 figure not identified; three animals (2 dogs and one sheep) and 1 loose hammering. In sector D there are three maps (rectangular figures just with contour). The maps are dated at the end of Neolithic period or beginning of Copper Age. In area Vite-Deria topographical representations are very important and well represented.

Intervention: |
Originally the engraved surface was covered by grass and soil, which were removed when discovered. The rocks of Vite-Deria locality have been completely recorded (contact tracing, grazing light pictures) by Footsteps of Man in 1989-2001. Until 1992 it was used to enlighten the figures the neutral method. |
