This rock shows in its surface two techniques: percussion and incision. Executed with the technique of incision there are different series of interlaced fine lines without a defined form and isolated and small lines along the surface. Its dimensions vary between few milimeters and 4-5 cm long. But the principal technique that has been employed is the technique of percussion. We can observe variety of this kind of motives, such as a vertical long pecked trace whose thickness vary between 0.5 and 1.5 cm. It is 20 cm long. An horizontal pecked trace whose thickness is similar to the previous motif, but has 9 cm long, and another vertical trace whose dimensions are 9 cm long and 1.5 cm wide. But also we can see series of pecked or group of pecked without defined form along the surface. Although there are two motifs more complex like an irregular snaky figure whose dimensions are 9 cm long and its thickness is about 1 cm wide, and a circle with an inclined trace in its upper part. There are some groups of pecked around the previous motif.

Risk: |
Its conservation state is good, although the surface is wornout because of the erosion of the water. The upper surface is also affected by the lichens, and the lower side of the rock has been covered by sediments and a bush. Nowadays, it´s principal risck is the construstion of a dam - Alqueva´s dam - wich will flood the hole area. |
