Geography: |
The precise location of the panel remains unknown, and it was last recorded in 1877 (Graves 1877, 288). However the townland lies on the south-facing slopes of the central mountain ridge running along the peninsula |
Proximity: |
The slopes are divided by several small streams and rivers, which drain from the Lough above (Loch Bhearna na Gaoithe) to the Owenalondrig River. There is a standing stone recorded in the area, and a modern settlement and associated roadways to the south. |

The motifs are arranged across the wider half of the panel, and a line of small cups separates the undecorated section of the stone. The composite glyphs consist of two cup and rings, two cups with two rings, and a cup with three rings. Motifs consist of abstract 'cup-and-ring marks' of the Galician style found across Ireland, the United Kingdom Western France and Iberia. They consist of deep pecked glyphs produced with a hard tool (probably stone or antler).
