A maioria dos esteios apresenta gravuras muito finas, quase imperceptíveis. São visíveis nalguns esteios restos de coloração negra segundo Baptista (1997), os esteios estavam totalmente cobertos de pigmento negro e as gravuras eram feitas sobre este, criando assim um efeito de contraste cromático). Tematicamente encontramos a conjunção de composições geométricas com a figuração de outros motivos geometricos de linhas, circulos e uma figura natropomorfica.

EuroPreArt, European Prehistoric Art, is a web-based archaeological project funded by the European Union which aims to establish a lasting data-base of European prehistoric art documentation, to launch the base of an European institutional network and to contribute to the awareness of the diversity and richness of European Prehistoric Art.
