Paspardo Municipality (BS-I), in the valley of the Spirits (also called Fuos Valley). The engravings are executed by hammering. The shape of the rock tends to be triangular. Engravings are concentrated in the middle upper part of the rock, oriented towards the front waterfall. The anthropomorphic figures are 20-30 cm high, with an average of 20. They have been executed by pecking. Few figures or part of figures have been executed by scratching. Some anthropomorphic figures are sexuated male (with a stick in the legs) and female (with a little cup mark between the legs). In the Bronze Age arms and legs are represented in U shape during the Middle-Recent phases.

Bronze Age and Iron Age (style IIII B-C/IV 1-2-3-4-5; from 16th cent. BC to 1st AD.). The Style IV of the Valcamonica Rock art corresponds with the Iron Age and with the beginning of the Roman period. The Style IV has been divided (Fossati) in 5 sub-phases: I (schematic), II (pre-naturalistic), III (naturalistic), IV (decadent), V (final). Each phase finds chronological comparisons between engraved and real objects (mostly metal weapons).

Notes: |
The local name of the site Valley of the Spirits suggests a religious and magic attendance of the area. It is possible to see the engravings with natural grazing light only in the morning and with artificial light (mirrors e.g.) in the afternoon. Risk: |
The rock is subjected to be covered by soil and leaves, due to the fact that is in a oblique position, and to the regrowing of lichens, mosses and algae, due to the humidity. |

Intervention: |
Originally the engraved surface was partially covered by ground and grass, moss and algae which were removed after the discovery. The rock has been completely recorded (contact tracing, grazing light pictures) by Footsteps of Man in 1997-98. |
